Plot
On a foggy day, six-year-old Jens vanishes without a trace, leaving his mother, Julia, devastated. Two decades later, a shoe belonging to Jens mysteriously arrives at Julia's father’s home, reigniting her hope that he may still be alive or that she could finally uncover the truth behind his disappearance. Returning to her father’s island, Julia learns of the notorious Nils Kant, a murderer thought to be buried long before Jens's vanishing. However, secrets emerge about Kant’s fate, and with the aid of local inspector Lennart, Julia delves deeper into the dark past surrounding her son’s case.
