Plot

In "Father of the Bride" (1991), George Banks, a typical middle-class dad, faces the shock of his daughter Annie's engagement to a wealthy suitor. At 22, Annie's decision to marry sends George into a tailspin as he grapples with the impending loss of his little girl. While his wife encourages him to embrace the joyous occasion, chaos ensues when a flamboyant wedding planner takes control of the preparations for the ceremony at their home, pushing George to the brink of madness as he struggles to accept this new chapter in their lives.
