Plot

Shimizu Yuichi, a reclusive day laborer yearning for connection, fills his days with phone calls to women through dating services and fleeting meetups for cash. His mundane existence takes a dark turn when he becomes entangled in the murder of Ishibashi Yoshino, a former acquaintance with a kind demeanor. After being spurned by the charming Masuo Keijo, Yoshino cruelly ridicules Yuichi, pushing him deeper into despair. This tragic event forces Yuichi to confront the consequences of his loneliness and the fragile relationships he seeks.
