Plot

Set against the backdrop of the 1960s, Summer of '67 explores the emotional upheaval caused by the Vietnam War. Milly (Rachel Schrey), a young mother, navigates life with her overbearing mother-in-law while her husband Gerald (Cameron Gilliam) serves on the USS Forrestal. Meanwhile, Kate (Bethany Davenport) grapples with her feelings for two very different men: her high school love Peter (Christopher Dalton) and the free-spirited Van (Sam Brooks). Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier) discovers love with Reggie (Jerrold Edwards), only to face the harsh reality of the draft. Each woman's journey highlights the uncertainty of love and loss during a tumultuous era.
