The Last Cowboy (2003)

Plot

John William 'Will' Cooper, a contemporary rancher, struggles to keep his family ranch afloat alongside his loyal foreman, Amos Russell. The situation becomes more complicated when his estranged daughter, Jake, returns for her grandfather's funeral. Old wounds resurface as they argue about ranch management and the tragic death of Jake’s mother, a burden Jake holds against Will. Faced with crippling debt, the pair must confront their past grievances and learn to collaborate if they hope to preserve both their home and their fractured family bonds.
