Plot

Ichiko prepares a cake to celebrate the year's end with her friends in her cozy Komori village. As winter blankets the landscape, she finds warmth in crafting mochi and curry, bringing the community together. With the arrival of spring, memories of her missing mother resurface, intertwining with the rituals of rice planting and the beauty of cherry blossoms. These reflections stir within her a longing to escape Komori once more, prompting a deep internal struggle as she balances the pull of home with her desire for freedom.
