Plot

Catherine's decade-long absence from Luxembourg ends when she returns to reconnect with her daughter, Alba, who has been raised by Catherine's mother, Elisabeth. Alba's chilly reception and Elisabeth's protective instincts create a tense atmosphere. Frustrated by the emotional distance, Catherine impulsively kidnaps Alba for a getaway to a northern lake.
