Plot

Toss, a young woman living on a sheep farm in New Zealand, faces a life-altering shift after her father’s tragic accident. With her grandfather hiring Ethan, a wandering hunter, to help out, Toss initially finds solace in their companionship. However, the dynamics change dramatically when Ethan begins a romantic relationship with Toss's mother, creating tension and heartbreak. As Toss navigates her feelings of betrayal and loss, the bonds of family and love are tested in the face of unexpected challenges.
