Plot
Set in 1954, a dedicated French nun embarks on a mission through Tonkin, accompanied by a sergeant, to share her faith. Guided by a mute boy, she reaches a secluded village where they prepare essential projection materials for their outreach efforts. As night falls and a storm brews, their safe haven becomes threatened by a group of maquisards. Fortunately, the village carpenter, a man of high regard, helps fend off the attackers. However, disaster strikes when rising waters cause the mute boy to lose a crucial message from a wounded maquisard, jeopardizing their mission.
