Plot

The Only chronicles the remarkable journey of Briana Scurry, a groundbreaking goalkeeper enshrined in the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame. As the first Black starter and openly gay player on the national team, Scurry faced immense challenges, including racism and homophobia, while achieving incredible success, such as winning two Olympic gold medals and making a legendary penalty save during the 1999 Women's World Cup.
