Plot

Zatoichi finds himself in a tragic predicament after killing a young man indebted to a yakuza leader. Just after the act, the young man's sister, Osode, arrives with money she earned through prostitution to settle the debt. However, the yakuza boss reveals his sinister intentions, trying to claim Osode despite the debt being cleared. Recognizing his mistake, Zatoichi steps in to shield her from the gang's threats. The duo faces an emotional struggle: Osode must depend on her brother's killer for safety while Zatoichi grapples with the consequences of his actions.
