In his early 30s, Pawel, a Polish man, partners with his father Zygmunt to import used clothing from Northern France to Southern Poland. During one of his routine trips home, Pawel is taken aback to find his father's photo splashed across the front page of a Polish tabloid. The word "traitor" looms ominously next to Zygmunt's name. Once a celebrated hero in the fight against totalitarianism and a recognized figure in the 80s "Solidarnosc" labor movement, Zygmunt now faces shocking accusations of having been a secret informant known as THE MOLE for the communist regime.
