Plot

Becca, Adam, and their young daughter Acie appear to lead an idyllic life until a tragic accident during a Fourth of July celebration takes Adam away. Overwhelmed by grief, Becca feels compelled to leave their family farm, seeking solace in the company of her old friend June. However, June's attempts to distract Becca lead her down a path of self-destruction, including reckless drinking. After a brief arrest, Becca faces the possibility of losing Acie to her grandfather, Ben. A pivotal encounter at a bus station ultimately inspires Becca to rediscover her faith and fight for her family’s reunion.
