Abel (1986)

Plot

This quirky comedy follows the peculiar life of 31-year-old Abel, who has never set foot outside his home. After unsuccessful attempts with various doctors and therapists, Abel's father, Victor, invites a friend named Christine to help teach Abel some essential social skills. However, chaos ensues when Victor’s wife, Duif, suspects him of infidelity, leading to a heated argument that results in Abel being kicked out. Just when things seem bleak, he encounters the compassionate stripper Zus, whose performances Victor is infatuated with, offering Abel a glimmer of hope.
