Plot

Chiba, a grim figure, shows up seven days prior to an individual’s untimely demise, tasked with watching over them and ultimately choosing whether to ‘execute’ or ‘pass over’ their soul. As the rain falls, he prepares to confront his latest subject, Kazue Fujiki, an employee in the complaints department of a manufacturing firm. After a long day at work, she leaves her office, unaware of the looming fate that Chiba must now determine. The clock is ticking down to her inevitable end, and the Reaper is ready to fulfill his duty.
