Plot

A pivotal week in 1988 propels 16-year-old Ben Spector toward adulthood amid a whirlwind of challenges. As the Victoria Day weekend marks the end of school and the Stanley Cup playoffs heat up in Toronto, Ben navigates the pressures of missing teammate Jordan Chapman, his parents’ expectations, and his own emerging sexuality. After lending money to Jordan for drugs, Ben is unsettled when Jordan goes missing the next day. Amid the turmoil, a tentative romance with Jordan's sister complicates Ben's already tumultuous life, forcing him to confront his fears and desires.
