Plot
Judy Bellaire, an exuberant teenager, faces expulsion from her all-girls boarding school after inspiring her chorus mates to infuse a classical piece with a contemporary swing rhythm. Disheartened, she returns to her chaotic family home. However, with a nudge from the family cook, Judy reignites her passion for performance and takes a bold step toward her aspirations by auditioning for a Broadway musical. Determined to chase her dreams, she navigates the challenges ahead, balancing her family dynamics with the excitement of the stage.
