Journey to the Forbidden Valley (2017)

Plot

A small plane crashes in the isolated regions of Central China, leaving a group of survivors, including a Chinese boy and his American guardian. While awaiting rescue, they stumble upon the legendary Yeren, a mythical ape-man said to have roamed the Shennongjia mountains for centuries. Their ordeal intensifies when poachers appear, intent on capturing the enigmatic creature. Faced with danger, the survivors must determine whether the Yeren is an ally or an adversary, leading to a gripping struggle for survival amid the wilderness and the looming threat of exploitation.
