Plot
Matt Gordon arrives in post-war Singapore, driven by the pursuit of a hidden treasure of smuggled pearls. As he navigates the city, memories of his enchanting fiancée, Linda, surface, recalling her mysterious vanishing during the Japanese invasion. To his shock, Linda reappears, but she's lost her memory and is now wed to affluent planter Van Leyden. Amidst this emotional turmoil, the treacherous fence, Mauribus, plots to seize Matt’s valuable pearls, creating a dangerous game of deception and desire that unfolds against the vibrant backdrop of a recovering Singapore.
