The Evil Inside (2020)

Plot

In the 18th Century, Scottish adventurer John Cavendish struck it rich in Tuscany thanks to his mastery of botany and agriculture. Fast forward to today, and Marcus Cavendish, a debt-ridden American painter and playboy, receives a letter from Chiara Conti, an Italian lawyer, informing him of his lineage. He learns he is the heir to Peter Cavendish, the last of John Cavendish’s descendants. Hoping this newfound fortune will resolve his financial woes and bring clarity to his life, Marcus heads to Tuscany. Upon reaching Cavendish Castle, he believes his troubles are over, only to confront an ancient evil that has plagued his family for generations, realizing that wealth and property pale in comparison to the weight of a blood curse.
