Wagon Trail (1935)

Plot

Sheriff Clay Hartley faces a dire situation when his son, Clay Jr., falls in with a dangerous outlaw gang led by Collins, the secretive owner of the Golden Rule Saloon. As the gang plans to rob a stagecoach carrying gold dust, Sheriff Hartley remains unaware of their intentions until a loyal deputy uncovers the plot. A violent confrontation ensues, resulting in the death of a deputy, and Clay Jr. is swiftly tried and convicted for the crime. With time running out, Sheriff Hartley seeks help from Joan, Collins' step-daughter and Clay Jr.’s love, to clear his son's name.
