Plot

Set in the aftermath of World War II in 1945, Enrico Piaggio faces the daunting challenge of revitalizing his devastated Pontedera factory, which has left 12,000 workers struggling to make ends meet. Driven by a sense of duty to his community, he dreams of an innovative, affordable mode of transport that can spur economic recovery. To realize this vision, Piaggio collaborates with the talented engineer Corradino D’Ascanio.
