Plot

In a tumultuous mining town, a band of Southern veterans faces intimidation from a local faction led by the ruthless deputy, Lane Travis. Seeking assistance, the miners mistakenly enlist stage sharpshooter Johnny Carter, believing him to be the famed Colonel Desmond. As Johnny arrives in Coppertown, he becomes entangled in local affairs, particularly with the enchanting gambler, Lisa Roselle. The miners suspect her involvement in their plight, but as tensions rise, Johnny must navigate love and conflict to uncover the truth behind the turmoil plaguing the community.
