Plot

Brandon, a determined surveyor, envisions a railway connecting the east to the west. Accompanied by his son Davy, he embarks on a journey to chart a new route. Their discovery of a shortcut that could reduce the journey by 200 miles is abruptly interrupted when a group of Cheyenne attacks. Tragically, Brandon is killed by a white renegade missing two fingers, who also scalps him. Left to fend for himself, Davy faces the harsh realities of survival in the untamed frontier, forever changed by the loss of his father.
