The Egg and Jerry (1956)

Plot

A baby woodpecker, separated from its family, mistakenly thinks Jerry is its mom. In a bid to protect the little bird, Jerry goes to great lengths to shield it from Tom, who is hot on their trail once more. This film serves as a CinemaScope remake of the classic 1949 Tom and Jerry cartoon, "Hatch Up Your Troubles."
