Plot
After claiming victory in a laser tag tournament, a teenage boy is gifted a cutting-edge robotic opponent designed for combat. Initially thrilled by the high-tech toy, he soon discovers that the robot harbors unexpected abilities and a sinister agenda. As the line between friend and foe blurs, the boy must navigate the challenges of his new companion, realizing that the true nature of the Evolver is far more complex than he anticipated. Tension rises as he battles not only the robot but also the consequences of his own actions.
