Plot
Amid the turmoil of the civil war, the Chinese People's Liberation Army's counterintelligence units clash with Kuomintang spies and saboteurs in the city’s outskirts. Zhang Go-zhong, the head of Kuomintang intelligence, deploys a significant sabotage team and entrusts their identities to major merchant Cui Xizheng. As the PLA takes control and begins to establish authority, the hidden threats posed by the Kuomintang operatives quickly come to light, igniting a tense struggle between the two factions in their fight for dominance.
