Plot
Marilyn Jordan, an American residing in Stockholm with her Swedish husband, exhibits increasingly erratic behavior, from poisoning her dog’s milk to setting fire to their sheets. While at the airport, customs detain her for carrying pruning shears. There, she encounters a young Yugoslav woman and is drawn into a Gypsy community, where she experiences passion and chaos, ultimately becoming entangled in the local bar's seedy entertainment. Meanwhile, Marilyn's daughter navigates her own journey into domesticity, mirroring the immigrant's bold exploration of identity through striptease. As Marilyn returns home, she’s transformed and more unpredictable than ever.
