Plot

Sisters Tae and Yo return to their childhood home, slated for demolition. While sorting through cherished family relics, Tae discovers a red box filled with her late mother's recipes and heartfelt letters, written two decades earlier. These documents reveal her mother’s difficult journey, including her move from Japan to Taiwan, the loss of her Taiwanese husband, and her fight against cancer. Inspired, Tae embarks on a journey to Taiwan, delving into her mother's history and recalling the beloved meals that once brought their family together.
