Plot
Sixteen-year-old Dorothy, a rock band groupie, experiences a life-altering moment when a van accident knocks her unconscious. Awakening in a surreal yet gritty alternate reality, she discovers she unintentionally killed a young thug. A flamboyant clothier known as the Good Fairy gifts her red shoes, enabling her to chase the final concert of the enigmatic Wizard, an androgynous rock star. As she navigates this dangerous world, Dorothy faces relentless pursuit from the thug's brother, who seeks vengeance. Along the way, she encounters an array of eccentric characters, including a dim-witted surfer, a unfeeling mechanic, and a cowardly biker.
