Plot
Set in 1980s Hamburg, Alex navigates life as a taxi driver amid the chaotic nightlife. The city pulses with loud pubs and heated arguments, where smoking is rampant. Searching for love and liberation, she engages in a casual fling with Dietrich, but it lacks true affection. Her connection with Marc, a dignified little person, offers deeper fulfillment. However, Alex grapples with the complexities of her passengers and the bleakness of her existence. Torn between her desires and the potential loss of Marc, she contemplates a life of escape, longing for freedom akin to a small, spirited monkey.
