Plot

In this poignant tale, a child's Sunday School Bible symbolizes a fractured bond between an adopted daughter and her parents over 25 years. As she nears the end of her life, Abigail urges her husband, Steven, to locate their estranged daughter, seeking both forgiveness and reconciliation. Steven embarks on a heartfelt journey from Kentucky to California, carrying the precious Bible that his daughter left behind. Along the way, he encounters a mysterious hitchhiker who may hold the key to his quest. Ultimately, Steven learns that every journey needs direction, and he will be "Guided by the Word."
