Plot
Set against the backdrop of the 1968-1969 Paris student and labor uprisings, 20-year-old poet François evades military service while engaging in the fervor of revolution. Rather than resorting to violence, he prefers opium and deep conversations about change with his wealthy friend Antoine, who offers him shelter. François's life takes a turn when he falls for Lilie, a sculptor balancing her passion with work at a foundry. As a year unfolds filled with creativity and love, Lilie's rising opportunities force both to confront their futures and the choices they must make.
