Plot

Henry Moon faces execution after a posse apprehends him while fleeing to Mexico on a broken-down horse. In a twist of fate, he discovers a quirky post-Civil War law in the small town where he is held. It states that a single or widowed woman can rescue him from the noose by agreeing to marry him. As he navigates this unexpected dilemma, Moon must charm the local women and navigate the complexities of love and desperation in a bid for freedom.
