Plot

Awakening from a long slumber in a Toronto basement, vampire Boya emerges in 1994, disoriented yet determined. He heads to a nearby cemetery to reclaim his belongings, settling into a budget hotel adjacent to a 24-hour donut shop. Embracing a new lifestyle, Boya opts for the blood of rats and pigeons over humans. At the donut shop, he forms a bond with taxi driver Earl, who is in over his head with two criminals, while also developing feelings for waitress Molly. Meanwhile, Boya’s former love, Rita, longs to reconnect with him, yearning for the youth she once cherished.
