Plot
Niki de Saint-Phalle, a French-American artist, embarks on a transformative journey at 23. Amidst the oppressive climate of McCarthyism, she escapes the U.S. with her husband and their two-year-old daughter, seeking refuge in France. Initially, they find a fleeting sense of joy in their new surroundings. However, unsettling memories from Niki's past soon resurface, threatening her newfound happiness.
