Plot

Marcelo and Carlos Quevedo's childhood ended abruptly when Carlos fled Cuba with their mother, who tragically passed away during the perilous journey. Left behind, Marcelo devoted his life to caring for their ailing grandfather. Two decades later, Carlos returns to Cuba, hoping to reconnect with Marcelo, only to discover the devastating effects of ALS have rendered his brother nearly immobile. This emotional reunion explores the weight of familial bonds, loss, and the passage of time, as Carlos grapples with the reality of his brother’s deteriorating condition and their shared past.
