Plot

Giuseppe "Peppino" Garibaldi, a humble resident of a quaint mountain village, enjoys fishing, camaraderie, and his job at the local library. Despite his optimistic nature, his child labels him a dreamer. His simple life takes a dramatic turn when a political blunder leads to his unexpected election as President of Italy. Thrust into a role he feels ill-equipped for, Peppino relies on his common sense, resulting in surprisingly effective leadership, though he struggles with formalities. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary General Janis Clementi desperately attempts to manage his unpredictable behavior, leading to humorous and chaotic situations.
