Plot
Clarice Lispector's novel, Uma Aprendizagem ou O Livro dos Prazeres, finds new life in this contemporary adaptation. Lóri, a lonely and melancholic school teacher, navigates a series of fleeting, unsatisfying relationships. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Ulisses, a charismatic yet self-absorbed Philosophy professor. Despite his lack of understanding about women, Ulisses becomes a catalyst for Lóri's personal growth, teaching her about love and the complexities of her solitude. As their connection deepens, Lóri begins to confront her emotional barriers and embrace the possibility of a fulfilling life.
