Plot
Pio Amato, a 14-year-old from a tight-knit Romani community in Gioia Tauro, Calabria, is eager to embrace adulthood. He idolizes his older brother, Cosimo, shadowing him to soak up street smarts and survival skills. In a bid to prove his worth, Pio attempts to match Cosimo’s prowess one fateful night. However, when a plan goes awry, he finds himself caught in a whirlwind of consequences that alters his perspective on life and the harsh realities surrounding him. Pio's journey reflects the struggles of youth against a backdrop of familial loyalty and societal challenges.
