Plot

North Preston, once a refuge for escaped slaves, has evolved into a community grappling with the stigma of being a major center for pimping and human trafficking. "This Is North Preston" explores the challenges faced by its 4,000 residents, highlighting the impact of generational pimp culture, economic hardship, and systemic racism. Through the lens of artist "Just Chase," who reflects on his journey from crime to pursuing music, the film captures voices from various perspectives, including community leaders, pimps, law enforcement, and trafficking survivors, ultimately conveying a message of resilience and hope for the future.
