Plot

Herman finds himself deep in gambling debt and devises a plan to settle up by sabotaging a racehorse for the mob. To pull off his scheme, he enlists the help of his unsuspecting cousin Virgil, an aspiring veterinarian who is passionate about animals. As the plot unfolds, Virgil encounters a fellow female veterinarian, while Herman unexpectedly develops feelings for the horse's owner. Amidst mistaken identities and romantic entanglements, the brothers navigate a chaotic web of deception that tests their loyalty and love for the animals they care about.
