Plot

Dave Peterson, a driven attorney, finds himself drifting apart from his teenage daughter, Karen. Their interactions typically revolve around his work commitments, leaving Karen to immerse herself in her journal and music. Upon receiving an invitation to his 25th high school reunion, Dave is confronted with nostalgia as he reconnects with former friends, including his old bandmates from The Groaners. Inspired by this reunion, he starts prioritizing quality time with Karen, ultimately deciding to put his career on the back burner in a bid to strengthen their relationship.
