Plot

Goubi, the village simpleton from Allier, dreams of experiencing Paris. His wish unexpectedly comes true when truckers drop him off at the bustling Halles market. Overwhelmed and disoriented in the big city, Goubi finds an unlikely ally in Dessertine, a compassionate meat merchant who recognizes their shared background of being "raised by the State."
