Plot

At a lavish party filled with aspiring hedonists, the cunning Baron Plessis de Regard and the alluring Nathalie devise their own schemes to use seduction as a weapon against their chosen foes. The Baron aims to sabotage the political career of Colonel Montvilliers, a right-wing candidate, by introducing him to a woman who will expose his newfound indulgences. Nathalie's vendetta is much more personal; she seeks to ruin her estranged father, Charles Leroy-Merville, by tainting his innocent 17-year-old daughter, Sophie. To accomplish this, she plans to become the girl's summer tutor.
