Plot

Sailor Johannes Blom returns to his home port after seven years at sea, only to discover that the woman he loves, Sally, is in a state of despair. Seven years prior, his boisterous father, Alexander Blom, had brought his mistress Sally aboard their salvage boat, where tensions between crew members and family ran high. As emotions simmered among the small group, Johannes and Sally developed a deep connection, ultimately falling in love. The return home forces Johannes to confront both the past and the heartache that has consumed Sally in his absence.
