Plot

Fatima emerges as a fierce advocate against the sex trade in her community, fueled by her traumatic past as a child bride to a pimp. With firsthand knowledge of the exploitation surrounding her, she is determined to shield her children from a similar fate. After divorcing her husband, she navigates the complexities of rebuilding her life, including falling in love and envisioning a fresh start. Despite facing police corruption and societal pressures, Fatima’s activism yields some rewards. Yet, as she confronts rising resentment and relentless challenges, her dreams for a better future seem increasingly out of reach.
