Plot

Three generations of Siberian Estonian women grapple with their complex heritage, tracing back to the 19th century when their ancestors were exiled from Estonia as criminals. Rather than facing harsh punishment, they discovered a lush land where they thrived and built new lives. Fast forward 170 years, and as war looms, the women confront a bittersweet reality. While they’ve called this land home, the impending conflict forces them to consider a final journey back to the paradise their ancestors once left behind: Estonia.
