Messidor (1979)

Plot

Two young women, each hailing from contrasting backgrounds, escape to the countryside in search of solace from their unfulfilling lives and strained relationships. As they embark on this journey, they hope to rediscover themselves and find peace. However, the idyllic setting soon reveals that their pasts are irrevocably altered, leaving them unable to return to the familiar world they once inhabited.
