Plot

Venture capitalist Joel, eager to reclaim his former glory, encounters entrepreneurs Nicolaus and Lester, who pitch their groundbreaking virtual reality company, Empathy, Inc. Their aim is to immerse users in the lives of the less fortunate through deeply emotional experiences. Intrigued, Joel secures the necessary funding for the startup. However, as he delves deeper, he uncovers a disturbing truth about the creators' ulterior motives, revealing that the technology harbors a much darker purpose than he initially believed.
